About us

Open Minded Solutions Limited is a privately owned and profitable Internet services company based in the North East of England. The company was incorporated in April 2005 following a successful first years trading as a Sole Proprietorship run by the now managing director, Philip Williams.

The company operates several web sites covering all the major Internet disciplines such as web design, domain registration, hosting, dedicated servers and web hosting software sales. Our first set of accounts are due in early 2006 and we welcome enquiries from professional parties to inspect them.

Management Team

Philip Williams is the managing director and primary point of contact for Open Minded Solutions Limited and its associated sites. Phil graduated from the University of Teeside in 1994 with a HND in Computer Aided Engineering and from there moved into retail sales working for companies such as Intertan (Tandy Electronics) and Vodafone.

More recently, Phil was employed at the Newsquest Group as a commercial field executive supplying web services to SME clients in the North-East. It was whilst at Newsquest that the idea of starting his own company formed.

Phil has been actively involved in various Internet disciplines for the last seven years and has written several articles and tutorials for sites such as EasyCFM where he is also an active moderator of their user forums. He is also a frequent poster at other business and web design forums such as The Webmaster Forums, Webhost Automation Limited, Shell Livewire and This Is Your Business. The latter he is the lead technical developer.
